Join WTK attorneys in a structured and interactive discussion about inclusive communication. We will first introduce participants to the concept of microaggressions and how they serve as barriers to effective and inclusive communication. In small break-out sessions, participants will identify effective strategies for interrupting microaggressions and practice communicating inclusively. Utilizing both hypothetical scenarios and personal experiences, participants will have an opportunity to explore the power of inclusive communication from the standpoint of the microaggressor, the target of the microaggression, and the bystander.
